Note: For Pennie Assisters and Brokers currently certified through 12/31/2026, the recertification training deadline is November 30, 2026.
If you do not complete the training by the deadline your account will be decertified effective 12/31/2026 and your customers will be de-designated. You are still able to be certified, but your account will be treated as new.
Step 1. Create or Update Your TrainPA Account

Step 2. Complete the Modules and Take the Final Exam

Select the link provided below and you will be automatically registered for the course. Please note modules must be taken in succession. To start the module, select the green “Launch” button in the upper right-hand corner.

Final Exam: At the conclusion of the final module, you will be prompted to first take the Final Exam, and then to provide your attestation to acknowledge, adhere to, and be bound by your respective Agreement.

After passing the Final Exam and attesting to the Agreement, the status of your training should show as Passed. At this point, your registration will be sent to Pennie for approval. Approvals will be processed weekly at a minimum. Once approved, your status will now have a green checkmark and the word Verified next to it. Your certificate will also be available to download for your records:
If you have completed all of the requirements, your Pennie account status will change from Pending to Certified, indicating that you are now a Pennie-Certified Broker! You will receive an email from do-not-reply@trainpa.org when your Pennie status updates.
